Caregiver Training Program Overview

This caregiver training program is designed to support caregivers through education, practical tools, and real-world strategies to promote safety, confidence, and independence at home. The program is flexible, self-paced, and focused on meeting caregivers where they are.

  • Structured, self-paced learning modules covering home safety, mobility, daily care tasks, communication, stress management, and planning for changing needs

  • Practical strategies and real-world tools caregivers can immediately apply at home to support independence and reduce caregiver strain

  • Optional additional resources and professional guidance for caregivers who want deeper learning or individualized support

Randi Nagyvathy

Randi is an occupational therapist and owner of Home in Mind. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences with a certificate in Gerontology from Cleveland State University and graduated in 2019 from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences with a Masters in Occupational Therapy. Her additional credentials include Certified Neuro Specialist (CNS) from the Neuro Specialist Institute in Pasadena, California and Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) from the National Association of Home Builders. She has experience working in a variety of settings including neuro and transplant ICU, general acute care, short term rehab, and skilled nursing facilities. Randi has a passion for working with others to maintain their independence throughout the lifespan and finding creative ways for people to be able to engage in daily routines and their own life passions. Randi, her husband, and their dog live in St. Augustine, Florida. She enjoys reading, paddle boarding, rock climbing, traveling, and spending time at home with family and friend
